At SPARK, we are proud to have been launched by His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in 2018, with a vision to create a leading industrial ecosystem that connects the world to opportunities in the Saudi energy sector and beyond. At the heart of SPARK is our integrated masterplan, encompassing 50km2 of Industrial and Logistics Zones that will enable the localization of the value chain.
Upon completion, our stakeholders can expect a thriving community where individuals and companies can prosper at the center of global energy markets. Tenants and investors will benefit from a cutting edge integrated industrial hub, unparalleled logistics infrastructure, and our strategic location at the crossroads of the East and West. Upon completion, SPARK will house more than 300 facilities dedicated to the industrial, technological, and service companies in the energy supply chain.
Once fully operational, the SPARK Logistics Zone will become one of the region's largest dry ports, handling up to 10 million metric tons of cargo annually. As a world-class industrial hub and a Saudi megaproject, SPARK promises state of the art infrastructure, complemented by SPARK Utilities and SPARK Logistics which will help bridge the gap connecting the world to opportunities in the Saudi energy sector and beyond.
SPARK is committed to fostering business growth within the Kingdom in support of Vision 2030. Upon reaching full maturity, SPARK is projected to contribute approximately SAR 22 billion annually to the Kingdom’s GDP and create 100,000 direct and indirect jobs.
