SPARK Logistics, formally known as Energy City Logistics Company (ECLC), is a Joint Venture between SPARK (Energy City Development Company) and Hutchison Ports, and it will be the operator of the Dry Port and Logistics Zone at King Salman Energy Park (SPARK). The Dry Port and Logistics Zone supports the third pillar of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision and will transform SPARK into the Logistics Hub of the region, by building a seamless efficient ‘Energy Supply Chain’, transferring technological innovations and knowledge, while developing local expertise and talent.
Furthermore, the dry port and logistics zone have been identified as one of the logistics centers in the Kingdom’s logistics masterplan announced in August 2023.
This will enable the Kingdom to become a global hub for trade, transport and logistics solution and services.

A dedicated area for Warehousing and Trucking solutions, providing General, Chemical, Temperature Controlled and Cold Chain Storage/ Warehouses. SPARK Logistics Company will follow a hybrid model both operating and leasing warehousing to International Logistics Providers partners and Beneficial Cargo Owners ( BCO’s), which will reduce cost, improve visibility, and control and ensure clients direct cargo through the zone. Trucking & distribution will be provided for clients of the zone, through either in house or outsourced solutions.

An inland terminal adjacent to the future GCC railway ensuring a more efficient customs clearance and connectivity.
Light manufacturing will take place in designated areas provided operations subject to the standard Customs Law of the GCC.
